Investment Service Officer

You are part of a dynamic Advisory Portfolio Management team in Brussels, and are responsible to support and coordinate the commercial activities, act as an expert for all operational and administrative tasks for the internal stakeholders and clients in absence of the Portfolio Managers. You will help guarantee optimal service to our customers.
Your position
Coordination and support of the Portfolio Managers in all their administrative, operational and commercial tasks:
- Preparing files and reports for appointments with clients and prospects and administrative follow-up: Portfolio report and/or presentation
- Follow-up of debit accounts: internal cash transfer, sell orders
- Act as a central point to contact for clients, help them regarding questions and follow-up on order introduction in given timeframe
- Preparing and following up the various transactions, such as term deposits and Corporate Actions
- Team agenda’s management: Maintaining agendas and scheduling all meetings
- First back-up for out of office and mail management
- Maintaining procedures and reporting possible improvements and changes
- Knowing and applying banking industry regulations and Private Banking procedures
- Become expert in solving complex issues such as transfers in a specific set-up
- Centralize digital/technical issues for the team: analysis, report and coordination of solution minded projects improving efficiency of process transversally
- Give training to internal customers on core banking & order management systems
Your profile
- You have an education at bachelor level with 5 years experience in the banking sector or Master with experience in a commercial-administrative support function;
- You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and French, knowledge of English being a great asset;
- You are comfortable working with Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
- You have good organisational skills and work meticulously;
- You are discrete, motivated, stress-resistant, flexible and can work autonomously;
- You are communicative and assertive;
- You can easily adapt to changing circumstances;
- You enjoy working in a dynamic team in an expanding market;
- You are interested in the business world and the financial sector.
