Context

As part of the strategy to develop the Third-Party Manager(TPM) market and acquire a new client base, the Head of External Asset Managers (EAM) Development & Coverage will have three main tasks, namely 
- diversification of the business base by bringing in new relationships and assets
- senior coverage of existing relationships 
- promoting the bank's full range of products and services.

Your position

The Head of EAM Coverage & Development will be responsible for :

  • the growth of existing relationships within the TPM team
  • developing new pre-targeted relationships on the Belgian market
  • developing new TPM relationships in line with the bank's strategy (Multi/Single Family Offices)
  • coverage of a list of pre-defined strategic relationships with the sales department (Multi/Single Family Offices)
  • promoting the Bank's offering to third-party asset managers
  • promoting synergies with other entities, in compliance with cross-border rules.

As the position of Head of EAM - Development & Coverage is cross-functional in nature, the person in charge will have to work with all the members of the EAM support team and the other functions.

- the teams in charge of the offering 
- support teams (risk, compliance, legal)
- IT department

Key Performance Indicators

  • NNMA
  • Revenues generated and penetration of credit & private assets offering
  • New TPM onboards 
  • Existing TPM developed
  • Development of senior coverage relationships
  • Absence of risk incidents (cross border, transaction risk, AML risk, implementation of risk management program)

Control Responsibilities

  • Knows and complies with internal procedures, directives and regulations
  • Ensures that all controls inherent in its activity are carried out
  • Identifies and manages compliance-related risks
  • Detects malfunctions and issues warnings in accordance with the normal incident reporting process

Your profile

  • Significant experience in the TPM market, in Belgium and/or internationally
  • Perfect knowledge of the specific practices of the third-party manager market
  • Regulatory and procedural knowledge-Knowledge of the Group's regulatory compliance constraints and related procedures
  • Risk culture and mastery of the risk environment of an activity carried out with third-party managers
  • Knowledge of the tools and procedures used to manage the risks associated with his/her activity for customers and for the bank
  • Mastery of the Bank's entire offering (custody, execution, credit, MIS offering, private asset), processes and tools
  • Solid business development and customer service skills (both internal/external)
  • Entrepeneurial spirit and strong interpersonal skills
  • Languages : Fluency in French, English and Dutch 
  • Master's degree or equivalent
