Cloud DevOps Engineer

Context

In the context of the setup of our Cloud Center of Excellence in charge of the processes, guidelines and best practices definition for managing our Azure Resources Deployment in the Cloud, we are looking for we are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines and deployment automation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative team within a group with international dimension.

Your position

 You will get the chance to be exposed to a lot of projects and technologies.

• Be a member of a squad of 5 to 7 people called the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)
• Define DevOps Strategy
• Own and maintain DevOps platform
• Design and build frameworks for DevOps pipelines required by project delivery and Infrastructure teams: creating services connections, accesses, Terraform. 
• Support them in usage
• Drive automation using pipelines
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation workflows and tools for continuous deployment, delivery and integration of Azure Resources
• Design and implement monitoring solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot production issues
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure GitHub actions.
• Move pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub actions.
• Write scripts and tools using Python and PowerShell to automate various tasks
• Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure to reduce cost and improve performance
• Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, DevOps, and automation
• Ensure Technical Decision are implemented throughout the process until quality control and process any required adjustments.
• Define test plans and test cases together with the tester
• Contribute to the scrum process (daily standup, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, backlog refinement, sprint review)
• Document the solution
• Execute integration tests with other involved parties
• Attend the needed meeting for defining solution and synchronize with third parties

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master in IT
• 5 years of experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Extensive experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and services
• Strong knowledge of Python or PowerShell scripting languages
• Strong knowledge in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Zabbix
• Strong understanding of security and compliance principles in cloud computing.
• Familiar with the Terraform deployment and provisioning workflow
• Experience with GitHub
• Knowledge of Dutch or French (C1-C2)
• Fluent in English (C1-C2)

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Performs well in interpersonal and teamwork situations
